Reiki helped with Baby Ruairi
Immediately after Ruairi, my third child was
born he cried for over an hour and I could not console him or
he would not feed from me. For the following four months as
I tried to feed him, he would continuously stop feeding and
scream for one to two hours. I did not go out often because
if he started to cry, I could not comfort him to stop. I tried
colic drops, homeopathic remedies, and massage and then I made
an appointment with an Osteopath when he was 15 months. The
Osteopath diagnosed that as a result of his position inside
me and the fact that he was engaged for approximately 2 months
during the pregnancy, he was squashed and his internal organs
were all pushed up towards his chest. His head was also compacted
and as the delivery was quick, he experienced a type of whiplash
and his spin was slightly misaligned. It was no wonder that
he had been crying so much. I was happy to have something diagnosed,
as I believed that no child could be so unsettled for no particular
reason. I continued bringing Ruairi to the Osteopath every three
weeks for five months. He was improving slowly.
I was delighted when I did Reiki, as I could now give Reiki
to him every day. I gave Reiki to Ruairi for fifteen minutes
every day for two weeks and then I was back at the Osteopath
for his normal visit. They could not believe the improvement
in him and a number of Osteopaths checked him and said that
they did not need to see him again. I was so grateful to the
Osteopath for diagnosing him and to Reiki, which helped him
to get better quicker.

I can't
say that I found Reiki rather it was sown into the fabric of
my life. Looking back it has been a series of steps & life
stories culminating in attunement to Reiki - self acceptance
& self love. It cannot be explained away as mere flights
of fancy or strange phenomena that so many earth angels have
touched my life guiding me at crossroads on paths that were
not apparently obvious...
Reiki to me is
the essence of life it's as natural as breathing, it is a spiritual
acceptance of self an unquestioning all encompassing trusting
entity... Life & vision in the NOW!

I've been doing reiki on.myself every day but not much on others yet- very selfish of me!
I cant believe how much calmer I am my reactions to situations has completely changed.
I can also now get rid of a headache or pain without panadol!

After Sakara Course: 24/10/11
For me, leaving the Sakara course felt in some ways like I had reached the destination – the journey being the Reiki attunements that I have received from Reiki I to the Sakara course. And yet in another way, it feels like this now is only the beginning now of a new journey – a journey that really only has my imagination as its boundary.
Since the course, each day I am far better at living fully in the moment, but also experience that detachment that has enabled me to not get caught up in the minute details and stresses and worries that really is such a waste of energy. This might sound funny but I definitely can ‘see’ a new me in the mirror!
The course as delivered by Patricia was, as ever, professional, challenging and yet remained as much about my personal attunement as about delivering the course.

Thanks for including mam in the distant healing. She has completed a course of radiotherapy. She's to go back to the hospital for a scan in a couple of weeks to see how successful it has been but it appears to have been so. She's starting chemotherapy on Monday. Her attitude to date has been nothing short of remarkable so long may that continue.

My experience of Reiki has been quite a journey
& I was happy to complete the Reiki Mastership course in
May of this year. Reiki for me has been like opening a big window
in my life & let so much love & happiness come pouring
in! It has also helped me deal with difficult emotions &
past issues & has given me a clarity & peace of mind
which is very comforting.
